Operation Christmas Child: Sharing Jesus Around the World

Each year, our BCS family comes together to take part in Operation Christmas Child—a beautiful opportunity to spread the love of Christ across the globe. Through simple gifts, we remind children everywhere that they are seen, loved, and valued.

We’re asking every student to participate by bringing in items their class is collecting. Once all items are gathered, our Upper Grammar students will enjoy a shoebox packing party to prepare these special gifts for delivery.

Items are due Friday, November 7.

Here’s what each class is collecting:

  • K3: Coloring books and crayons

  • K4/K5: Toothbrushes and holders

  • 1st/2nd: Children’s socks and washcloths

  • 3rd–6th: Small toys for boys and girls

  • House of Lumen: Small stuffed animals

  • House of Caritas: Small balls and jump ropes

  • House of Fidem: Small flashlights and batteries

This is our BCS International Mission Project, and it’s one of our favorite ways to come together as a school family—serving with joyful hearts and sharing the greatest gift of all: Jesus.
