PUERTO RICO MISSION TRIP INFORMATION

We are excited to announce the upcoming mission trip to Puerto Rico from April 3rd to 8th, 2024, and we would like to provide you with more details about this exciting experience. Here's a comprehensive breakdown of the trip:

Cost:

  • The total cost for each participant is $1000, covering all essential expenses.

Inclusions:

  • Round-trip airfare: We will be flying with either Delta or Jet Blue.

  • Transportation during the week: We will rent 15-passenger vans for our convenience.

  • Daily meals: We will provide breakfast and lunch each day in Puerto Rico. While some meals will be prepared by our team, we will also have the opportunity to enjoy local breakfast places and lunch spots.

  • Lodging: We will be staying at a missionary-designed university with comfortable accommodations. Each room is equipped with two twin beds, a couch, TV, mini refrigerator, a full bathroom area, and all necessary linens.

Eligibility: This mission trip is open to all 10th through 12th graders and their families. Members of other church or school families are also welcome to join us on this journey. Students in grades 10th-12th are eligible to travel independently, without the need for a parent's presence. For students outside of 10th-12th grade, it is necessary to have at least one parent or guardian accompany them on the trip.

Mission Work: We will be working closely with two young church plants in the San German area. Our tasks will primarily involve light construction work and various evangelism opportunities.

Itinerary:

  • Arrival: We will fly into San Juan and then drive approximately two hours to San German, where our mission work will take place.

  • Work Days: Each day will be dedicated to our mission work,

  • Church: We will attend one of the local churches on Sunday and potentially on Wednesday night when we arrive.

  • Leisure Time: We have allocated some free time for sightseeing and experiencing local culture during the trip.

Travel Requirements: As Puerto Rico is a US Territory, you only need a government-issued ID for travel. While passports are good to have, they are not required for this trip.

Deposit and Ticket Purchase: To secure your spot on this meaningful journey, a $300 deposit is required by January 3. We need to purchase air tickets as soon as possible, so prompt action is greatly appreciated. MAKE YOUR DEPOSIT HERE.

Contact Information: Should you have any questions or require further information, please feel free to reach out to Hal Pinson at 229-344-6998.

We look forward to embarking on this mission trip with you and making a positive impact on the lives of those we serve. Your participation and support are greatly valued.

Thank you for considering this opportunity.
