Spirit, Colors, and Casual Vibes: First Week at BCS
To make the first week fun and easy for everyone, we’ve planned exciting themed dress-down days:
Tuesday, August 19 – BCS Spirit Day (wear your new BCS t-shirt, a favorite BCS shirt, or BCS colors)
Wednesday, August 20 – House Colors Day (students represent their house by wearing their assigned color) - Find this at the bottom!
Thursday, August 21 – Favorite Team (school-appropriate casual wear).
Friday, August 22 – Christian Faith Day (christian shirt, church shirt, or school uniform).
Let’s kick off the year with school spirit, house pride, and plenty of smiles as we Walk Worthy into 2025–2026!
First Day Drop-Off Instructions:
We want the first day to be smooth and stress-free! Here’s how drop-off will work:
Drop-Off Without Walking In: Enter through the ballfields and follow the route around to the Highway 82 portico for student drop-off. Please have your child unbuckled and ready to exit your vehicle before reaching the portico, and remain in your car to keep the line moving smoothly.
Walk Your Student In: Use the parking lot above and enter through the black gate.
Capture those first-day memories! Backdrops will be available starting at 7:30 AM:
Two large BCS backdrops for family photos will be located outside.
Smaller, grade-specific backdrops will be located in the hallways at each teacher’s doorway.
Each house will also have its own backdrop in the Logic/Rhetoric hallways.
Starting Wednesday: Pick-Up Made Easy
Pick up time is 3:00 PM. For those with students in both grammar (K3-6) and logic/rhetoric (7-12), you will use the Grammar Drop-Off/Pick-Up entrance for both drop-off and pick-up purposes. Your logic/rhetoric student will walk to the Grammar Pick-Up entrance.
REMINDERS FOR GRAMMAR (K3-6TH) PARENTS:
K3-2nd walk-in only at the black gate (No drop off here). Please do not enter into classrooms. Make sure to exit the building by 8 am. This allows our teachers to begin their day on time.
Drop-off for all other students remains at the portico on the Hwy 82 side of the building.
Please do not get out of your car in a car line (whether to buckle or unbuckle a seatbelt). This allows the lines to move quickly.
Please pull into the front parking lot (as pictured above) to buckle your child's car seat out of traffic so that the exit line never stalls (car seat and seat belt help).
House Colors for Wednesday, August 20 - Day 2:
We can’t wait to see our Saints back on campus! Here’s to a fun, smooth first week full of smiles, school spirit, and walking worthy into 2025–2026!
