Serving Up Success: Meet the New Leader of BCS Volleyball, Ansley Starowicz!

We’re excited to announce that Ansley Starowicz is joining Byne Christian School as our new volleyball coach! Ansley brings a wealth of experience both as a player and a coach, along with a genuine passion for the game and our community.

Ansley started playing volleyball in eighth grade and spent her summers training at camps hosted by PCC in Florida and Emory University. She competed for Byne as a homeschool athlete for three years and also played travel volleyball with Lee County during her junior and senior years of high school. After graduating in 2017, she returned to BCS as a coach from 2017 to 2020. During that time, the girls varsity volleyball team earned a region championship—a testament to the strong foundation she helped build.

Outside of volleyball, Ansley is a dedicated business owner, co-running her family’s crop insurance agency, South GA Ag Insurance Agency, in Sylvester. She’s also a proud wife and mom to two young children, Veronica (3) and Peter III (1½), sharing her love for both family and sport.

We invite the entire BCS community to join us for a Meet & Greet with Coach Ansley on Friday, June 13 at 3:30 PM, immediately followed by our first Open Gym session. Open gyms will continue every Friday from 3:00 to 5:00 PM throughout the summer.

This is a great opportunity to connect with Coach Ansley, get some practice time in, and show your support as we gear up for a fantastic volleyball season.

Let’s give Coach Ansley a warm welcome and get ready for an exciting season ahead! Go Saints!
